Are spaces included in the character count?

Yes. The character total includes letters, numbers, punctuation, line breaks, and spaces.

How are paragraphs counted?

A paragraph is a block of text separated from another block by at least one blank line.

Will every language be counted perfectly?

The tool can count Unicode text, but it separates words using whitespace rather than language-specific grammar. Languages that do not normally use spaces may need a specialised word segmenter.
