Website information

Privacy Policy

How this website handles enquiries, accounts, essential storage, and optional analytics.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we store the name, email address, phone number, service selection, website address, and message you choose to provide. If you create an account, we store account details and a one-way password hash; we do not store your plain-text password.

The site may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address and browser headers, to deliver pages, protect forms, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. This information is not added to the contact enquiry record by the form endpoint.

How we use information

We use submitted details to review and reply to enquiries, operate accounts, secure the website, maintain records, and plan requested work. Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or oblige either party to begin a project.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

Signed-in users receive an essential, HTTP-only session cookie that lasts for up to seven days. The analytics preference is saved in local storage so the site can remember your choice.

If Google Tag Manager is configured, it is not loaded until you accept optional analytics. After acceptance, configured analytics tags may receive page and interaction information and may set their own cookies. Harmita's enquiry events contain only broad form categories and success status—not names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, or website URLs. You can withdraw consent through the Analytics settings control; the page reloads so the container is not loaded again, but withdrawal does not itself delete cookies that a configured third-party tag already set.

The four browser tools listed on the Tools page perform their calculations in your browser; the text or numbers entered into those tools are not sent to the contact API.

Storage, sharing, and retention

Contact enquiries are stored in the website's configured MySQL database. Hosting, database, security, and analytics providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not claim to sell contact-form information.

We keep information only while it is reasonably needed for the purposes above, contractual or record-keeping needs, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. A fixed deletion schedule has not yet been published; you may ask us to review or delete your information, subject to obligations that require retention.

Security and your choices

We use access controls, signed sessions, input validation, and transport security where supported. No online system can guarantee absolute security. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, or to raise a privacy question. We will assess the request under the law that applies to the information and the request.
